Shipping Cost - Domestic US
Please keep in mind that our customers consider our shipping to be very expedient. Our free shipping is usually faster than even our competitor's paid shipping.
For shipping to the continental US, we base the shipping cost on the merchandise total as follows:

We ship via U.S. First Class Mail, U.S. Priority Mail and FedEx Ground depending on package weight and destination. Though the official quote from our shippers is 3-5 business days, we've found that our East Coast customers, especially those in the Southeast typically enjoy much faster order arrival. We can also quote expedited overnight shipping if it is critical, but have found our standard methods to be very fast. We must ship US Postal Service to Alaska, Hawaii, APO/FPO and Post Office Boxes. Orders placed by 6:00 PM Eastern time are usually shipped the next business day. However, our revised shipping schedule for our move is Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Our experience in shipping and flexibility in carrier choice allow us to pick the quickest way to get each order to our customer's door.
Even with the substantial shipping discounts we offer our customers, we have found the carrier transit times to be pleasantly quick within the continental US. They tend to range from next-business-day within the North Carolina area, to second-business-day on the East Coast, and 3-5 business days to the West Coast. In most cases paying extra for express shipping only makes sense for customers who live on the West Coast and need a heavy order with a tight schedule. Of course, the shipping carriers may slow down a bit during high demand times such as Christmas, and we can't guarantee the schedule of these third party companies.
