About Au Naturel Baby
Our Mission
- We are a family owned company run by a work-at-home mom. All our products are carefully selected and come from all over the world: Europe, Middle East, Canada and foremost from the United States.
- Our philosophy is to provide the utmost in quality while enabling other mothers to work at home to be with their children - hence many of our products are made by mothers and by companies which are run by mothers.

Our Story
The concept of Au Naturel Baby was born in 2002 shortly after the birth of our first son. Before James was born I spent hours researching and concluded I definately wanted to use cloth diapers. I wanted to spare my son from all the harmful chemicals in disposables while also protecting his world from waste. So I excitedly ordered my first batch of cloth diapers. Yet I as soon as it arrived I felt intimidated by the whole process. Had I chosen the right brand? Would I like them? Would they fit well? How on earth did one start a cloth diaper washing routine? So I waited. I decided that we would start out in disposables at the hospital and switch to cloth when we got home. Looking back I really regretted that decision. When James was born he was quickly wrapped in chemical laden disposables. Very soon afterwards he started to react to them and get a diaper rash. We applied numerous ointments only to see the rash get worse with each diaper change. By the time we got home my son's bottom was bleeding with diaper rash. I was so heartbroken to see his precious young bottom so angry and sore. So we quickly plunged into cloth. Much to our relief the rash completely cleared within 2 days never to return. I learned a lot in that first year of diapers. We tried almost every diaper on the market and I found myself often educating other moms on the benefits of today's modern cloth diapers. Soon we felt we couldn't keep the joy of cloth to just our local friends. We wanted to share our experience and knowledge with other moms like you. We are so thankful that Au Naturel Baby has been serving babies and moms with wonderful cloth diapering products and tips for almost 3 years now.
Today we have 2 wonderful boys. Both are still enjoying their cloth, although one is potty training. Our cloth experience is therefore very current and we still test all the new things that come to the cloth market so that we can offer you tremendous customer service.
